On payments, Belgium leaves little choice: the stake goes in through Bancontact, card or app, and the payout runs to your bank account. The rename from Payconiq to Bancontact Pay dates from March 2026. Bancontact is the national standard and therefore everywhere, with a threshold that rarely drops under €5.
Per transaction Bancontact Pay lets €1500 through, and €2500 per day. The stake lands without delay; between request and account sit usually one to three banking days, on top of the processing time on the operator's side.

From signup to first payout
Signup asks the same steps everywhere: identity details that match, and a check on them. Keep an identity card and proof of residence ready. Paying from someone else's account always creates problems.
Dutch or French is not guaranteed, and complaining to the Commission is not an option. Document your deposits yourself, even if the site does too; without those documents a complaint leaves you empty-handed.

Limits, age and EPIS
On player protection, Belgium sits above the European average in strictness with concrete consequences for your account. Each site automatically applies a €200 weekly ceiling. Adjusting downwards works right away, adjusting upwards follows a check and a term.
Through EPIS the Gaming Commission runs centralised exclusion: the exclusion applies instantly across the whole licensed landscape. The request goes through the regulator itself. Casino, gaming hall and sports betting are 21-and-over since 1 September 2024; 18 still applies at the National Lottery alone. It applies online and on-site.
